When you work with a skilled audiologist, the process of getting a properly fitting hearing aid is easy. First, you will complete a hearing test. If necessary, you may be referred to a physician to address potential medical concerns. Next, you will have a hearing aid consultation. The consultation typically occurs on your first visit. The audiologist will make his or her device recommendation based upon your results and lifestyle. Bring a significant other, spouse, family member, or friend because this is a great time to ask questions and explore your options. Once a selection is made, you will have a hearing aid fitting appointment. The audiologist will review how to care for and maintain your devices, and ensure the sound is clear and comfortable. Finally, you will have a follow-up appointment to determine how your hearing aid is working for you and to make fine-tuning changes as needed. Our team works hard to make the process easy for you.
